Santa Clara, CA – Sept. 30, 2014 – Expertus announced today that Siemens Building Technologies (BT), the world’s market leader for safe and energy efficient buildings, won a coveted Brandon Hall Group Gold Award for excellence in the “Best in Competencies and Skill Development” category. One of Expertus’ high-tech customers, Siemens BT was honored for their “Standardized Training Program” which involved a comprehensive plan supported by Expertus’ ExpertusONE LMS.

“Although we had a long history of providing excellent employee development and support, we had not formalized a prescriptive, role-based competency program,” George Kuhn, Siemens BT’s Manager, Performance Group, said. “To address this, we launched a project to develop an efficient and sustainable way to assign the required development tasks, document our workforce’s technical skills and gaps and track their development.”

The result was their Standardized Training Program − a comprehensive competency plan that would:
